Currently ColorBiz™ is compatible with Aveda color only. At this time, we
do not have a schedule for when it will be available with other color lines.

Pricing
- $100 per ColorBiz™ computer each month with your SalonBiz®/SpaBiz® subscription
- $200 per ColorBiz™ computer each month for non-subscription clients
- A Citrix license is required for Enterprise HA customers who are running ColorBiz™ on the same computer as SalonBiz®/SpaBiz®

- Currently ColorBiz™ is compatible with Aveda Color.
- A static IP address and a high-speed Internet connection are required

Implementation
Please allow two weeks for implementation and education of the software.
HeadMapping Education
The two-day Head Honchos class or on-site training is a pre-requisite for all ColorBiz™ customers. Customers may choose to attend the class offered by Walter Claudio’s team in Santa Barbara or an on-site training will be available with the Neill Corp Color Education team in the future.
- Head Honchos class is $1995 per salon for two employees. Customer is responsible for airfare and accommodations in Santa Barbara.
Registration is available though Salon Operating Systems at 805.722.7561. A deposit is required prior to the training.

Education
A one-hour ColorBiz™ training session is available with the monthly ColorBiz™ subscription. Unlimited support and education is included with your SalonBiz®/SpaBiz® subscription.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can you preload the HeadMapping service list?
Yes. All of the HeadMapping services are preloaded in ColorBiz™ for your convenience.
How long will it take me to enter my color line? Can I use different color lines?
Currently ColorBiz™ is designed to work with Aveda color . The Aveda color lines are preloaded in the software for you. You can mix different color bowls and each color bowl ingredient is entered in separately, therefore it will support multiple lines.
Do I have to link all of my staff to each service in both SalonBiz®/SpaBiz® and ColorBiz™?
No. When staff are linked to services in SalonBiz®/ SpaBiz®, then they are linked to the same services in ColorBiz™.
Do I have to set up pricing in both ColorBiz™ and SalonBiz®/ SpaBiz®?
No. ColorBiz™ pricing overrides the services prices in SalonBiz®/ SpaBiz®.
What if I need to apply a toner at the bowl?
Just go back to ColorBiz™ and add in the service, then formulate the color and mix.
Does the system prompt for virgin hair or retouches?
The system allows for manual adjustments for these types of services. Adjustments are automatically changed proportionately.
Do I have the flexibility to mix more than one bowl? Is there a limit to the number of bowls?
Mixing is easy – simply determine what you need in each bowl. The software records each bowl’s formulation separately for accuracy. And there is no limit to the number of color bowls.
What if I am in the middle of a formula and someone changes the screen?
No worries. ColorBiz™ saves the formula and when you reselect it, the information is still in place.
Am I still able to discount a ticket with a color service on it?
Yes. ColorBiz™ transfers the service amount to the sales ticket in SalonBiz®/SpaBiz®. Discounts may be applied to the sales ticket itself.

Are all of the SalonBiz®/SpaBiz® customers and their “old” formulas
going to show up on the new ColorBiz™ screen? Are the new ColorBiz™
formulas going to be in SalonBiz®/SpaBiz®?
Only the formulas that are entered in ColorBiz™ will appear in the customers’ ColorBiz™ file. However any formulas entered in ColorBiz™ will be stored in the customers’ SalonBiz®/SpaBiz® file.
How will the front desk know what to put on the SalonBiz®/SpaBiz® sales ticket?
ColorBiz™ automatically transfers the correct price and formula to SalonBiz®/SpaBiz® when you save today’s visit information.
Since this is a web application – can me or my service team access ColorBiz™ from home?
No. ColorBiz™ is secure and can only be accessed from the salon location.
